We’re not sure if this is a good list or a bad list to be on, but three towns in Ohio have made a recent ranking of least expensive cities for a date.
Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Columbus all made the list, which was put together by TheBlackTux.com.
The site said it had a “standard date” in mind for its analysis: “We decided to run the numbers to find the cost of a typical date across each major city of the United States. We based our analysis on a set of assumptions of how to define a standard date in order to get consistent data. Our classic date is dinner and a movie, plus transportation and drinks.”
Cincinnati came in at No. 4 on the list, with an average total date cost of $98. Cleveland was at No. 9 with $101.06, and Columbus rounded out the Top Ten at $102.23.
(Oklahoma City was the No. 1 spot with an average total date cost of $87.85.)
The site also took a closer look at each element of a date, and Cleveland was the least expensive city for “Two Post Date Drinks” (NYC was the most expensive in that category).
So whether you’re looking for a reason to leave or looking for a reason to stay, we’re not here to tell you how to take this information. Regardless, it shouldn’t break the bank the next time to decide to hit the town.
