There is more to autumn than pumpkin spice and everything nice. Welcome to Land of Illusion.
Brett Oakley’s backyard ‘Middletown Haunted Trail’ began in 1997 as a fundraiser for the Madison Township Fire Department. Today, Land of Illusion is a 64-acre (with 200 acres to expand), six-attraction, multi-million dollar scream park nestled between Cincinnati and Dayton.
Land of Illusion’s Six Attractions:
- The Middletown Haunted Trail
- Dr. Psycho’s Haunted Estate
- Temple of Terror
- Killer Klowns
- Zombie Sniper Patrol
Ohioans love Halloween, and we love to be scared! According to thescarefactor.com‘s haunted house directory, the only state that has more haunted attractions than ours is California, which is only two attractions our senior. Not to mention California’s population is more than three times greater than Ohio’s! So per capita, Ohio is the clear leader in haunted house density. Okay, I’ll stop bragging.
Land of Illusion sells single-attraction passes, all-access passes, and even season passes, accommodating everyone regardless of where they fall on the ‘macabre’ spectrum.
