From 60-foot dinosaurs to two-inch trilobites, Cincinnati Museum Center is celebrating all things fossils from 10AM to 4PM on Saturday, October 19.
Join Cincinnati Museum Center for a day filled with fossil activities, games and free lectures. Guests can watch as fossils are actively removed from stone in a paleontology lab, speak with the museum’s staff paleontologists and learn about the fossils you can find in your own back yard.
Plus, take in the museum’s impressive dinosaur specimens in its Dinosaur Hall, featuring a 60-foot Galeamopus, the T-Rex’s older cousin Daspletosaurus and a fierce 35-foot Torvosaurus – the only one of its kind in the world.
Experts from Miami University, the University of Cincinnati, Marietta College, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Kentucky Paleontological society and more.
Fossil Fest activities are included with admission to Cincinnati Museum Center and free for Members. Click here for more information.
