The Cincy Weekend Guide To: Fort Thomas

Tucked away on the east side of Northern Kentucky you'll find Fort Thomas. Semi-suburban with more than a few great bars and burgers, we love this neighborhood inside and out.

While you're in Fort Thomas, you should...

Midway Cafe

Get a burger and a beer at Midway Cafe

Cozy, casual and always ready for your burger cravings, the Midway Cafe is everything a neighborhood bar and grill should be. It’s pretty much perfect if you wanna sit outside and take advantage of their great local beer selection. Order the Cincy Pig (bacon, ham, goetta, BBQ and pepper jack on a burger) and enjoy the neighborhood.

New Garden

Grab lunch at New Garden

No neighborhood guide is complete without a cheap (and seriously delicious) lunch option. For us, that has to be New Garden. From 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., $6.25 gets you a huge list of options from General Tso’s Chicken to spicy Szechuan Beef. Aside from that, it’s great pretty much at any time. Get the Volcano roll and thank us later.
