1 Night, 4 Fireworks Dispays: Coney Island’s 8th Annual Fire Up The Night is Nearly Here

The United States' only international fireworks competition happens right here in Cincy!

On September 21, three world-class teams representing  Belgium, Vietnam, and Russia will come together for a pyrotechnic competition that will light up the night skies for the 8th annual Fire Up the Night International Fireworks Competition at Coney Island. Fire Up the Night is the only International Fireworks Competition in the United States.

Spend the day riding rides, canoeing on Lake Como, or playing a round of mini golf, plus live entertainment at the world’s largest ’empty-pool’ party at Sunlite Water Adventure.

In Moonlite Pavilion visitors can experience the unique cultures of the countries competing in Fire Up The Night. Family members of all ages can plan on fun and educational activities, such as interactive music, dancing, and more.

Beginning at 8:30PM, the competing countries will light up the night sky with 3 firework displays as they compete in hopes of being voted the winning display. Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks will end the evening with a fantastic finale over Lake Como. This family-night-out begins at 4PM and is sure to be a night your family will never forget.

Admission for Fire Up the Night is $25 per carload and includes parking, rides and attractions, entry to the world’s largest ’empty-pool’ party, live entertainment, and more.
