“Bold, kilt-wearing men will go around on SkyStar and get a round at the Holy Grail,” said Al Mers, owner/operator of SkyStar Observation Wheel. “We look forward to having some free-spirited fun while celebrating our region’s Celtic heritage.”

Additionally, during the festival, SkyStar will show off its Celtic colors through more than one million LED lights. For the first time, Cincinnati Celtic Fest will take place at The Banks on East Freedom Way near Great American Ball Park.

SkyStar, the 150-foot-high mobile observation wheel on Freedom Way at The Banks, provides unique views of downtown Cincinnati, Covington, the Ohio River and the Roebling Suspension Bridge. Each of the 36 gondolas is enclosed, air conditioned and can hold up to six passengers. Skystar offers a private experience and riders are not paired with strangers. The SkyStar experience consists of four revolutions and lasts approximately 12 minutes.
