There’s nothing like a festive twist on a classic to get you through the holidays! We asked well-known mixologist Bob Peters (Ritz-Carlton Charlotte/The Punch Room) to give us a couple of recipes. And he says this Peppermint Julep is so simple, you basically don’t have an excuse not to make it.
All you need is some bourbon, peppermints from the store and water. Place the mints in a pot filled with water on a low heat until they completely melt. Then, add an ounce of peppermint mixture to two ounces of bourbon. Serve over crushed ice. Garnish with a peppermint and sprig of mint.
