Ground beef and pasta galore – it’s what Olive Garden’s known for, and we wouldn’t change a thing. And then there’s the affordable, slightly-higher-end array of other Italian dishes… let’s not forget those! If you’re into all those things, then you’re going to want to hear about Olive Garden’s monstrous new menu items.
The chain just debuted a line of super-sized menu items. Each one of them is essentially a larger portion of a dish that you’ve likely had before.
For instance, maybe you’ve tried the average-sized meatball dinner. Welp, turns out that it pales in comparison to the giant meatball dinner – it’s not even a contest. Check out this image:
The meatball phenomenon is pretty exciting for the employees, too. Check out this tweet; her boss is mega-excited for the promotion’s return:
my general manager is clearly very excited about the giant meatballs coming back at Olive Garden pic.twitter.com/CcvDJ2yg20

Obviously, that meatball isn’t quite to scale, but you get the idea. These giant meatballs – among other dishes – have people pretty darn excited for what Olive Garden is working on.
That said, if meatballs aren’t quite your speed, then you can catch any of the other over sized dishes Olive Garden’s serving up. These include:
- The aforementioned gargantuan meatballs
- Chicken Parmigiana
- Fettuccini Alfredo
Olive Garden’s pasta? We’re here for it!
So, what’s the verdict? Are you in for some of these massive dishes? Or are you skipping out?
