Original story from 6/29

One of Northside’s most popular restaurants has finally set a grand re-opening date after a big move and months of construction.

Melt Eclectic Cafe will open it’s new location on Tuesday, July 4th at 4 p.m., coinciding with the annual Northside Rock and Roll Carnival right across the street at Hoffner Park.

Known for it’s vegetarian and vegan dishes, Melt moved to the Gantry building at the intersection of Hamilton Avenue and Blue Rock Street after being bought by Wellmann’s Brands last year.

According to a Facebook post by the restaurant, they are reopening with dinner service only beginning at 4 p.m. daily, Monday through Saturday. Lunch service and Sunday brunch are soon to follow, according to the post.
