In Partnership with the Southern Weekend

Here’s where you can get fresh Georgia peaches in Ohio and Kentucky this summer

With summer right around the corner and temperatures finally warming up, wouldn’t it be nice to sit and enjoy some of the simple joys of the season?

Soon, thanks to a roaming truck selling some of summers finest fruit, you can!

In the words of the Allman Brothers, eat a peach.

The now famous Peach Truck is making its way back through the Greater Cincinnati Area this summer and their schedule will leave fans scurrying to get their hands on the mouth-watering goodness.

The Peach Truck is based in Nashville, Tenn. where Stephen Rose says he had the idea to sell the kind of fresh fruit he’d grown up with in Fort Valley, Ga.

Rose and his wife Jessica began selling Central Georgia’s own Pearson Farms peaches out of a 1964 Jeep truck, their website says.

Now the Rose’s spend the summer season driving their popular Peach Truck from city to city across state lines so people everywhere can gorge Georgia peaches.

The Peach Truck is traveling through the Greater Cincinnati Area over four-day periods in June and July.

Here’s a look at their schedule:
