Great places to watch the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade

The Findlay Market Opening Day parade is a start to what many consider a Cincinnati holiday.

The parade will start at the Race Street side of Findlay Market at noon and end at the Taft Theatre.

Findlay Market

The perfect place to start is at the beginning, right?

Well you’ve got no better place than Findlay Market itself! Get your Opening Day gear, see the parade start and enjoy a pint or day as this Cincinnati holiday kicks off.

Washington Park

It is right in the center of Over the Rhine and in perfect view of the parade.

Washington Park will be filled music, food, family friendly activities, and cold beverages. Officials say to get there early to reserve a spot.

Revolution Rotisserie & Bar

Watch the parade from the patio or store front.

This place will be serving drink specials all morning and as an added bonus, there will be raffles. Some of the prizes include Reds memorabilia, Madtree Rounding Third six pack, Rhinegeist Hustle six pack, Revolution gift card, & a bottle of Watershed.

Taft's Ale House

Taft’s Ale House will open at 8 a.m. and the first 100 people to buy a Nellie’s Key Lime Caribbean Ale will receive a free commemorative T-shirt.

They will also have several of prizes available. For every beer sold, they will be giving out a Cracker Jack box with a prize in it.

Grand prizes include a food and beer tasting for 10 in their Bell Tower private room, as well as a large pizza per week for a whole year at Taft’s Brewpourium.

Piatt Park

This little two-block shaded park will provide respite from the crowds along the route.

Just a bit after the midway point, Piatt Park features plenty of places to sit down and take a break, as well as public Wi-Fi.

Did we mention the park is almost 200 years old?

Fountain Square

Formally called “Rally on the Square,” Fountain Square will be filled with music and other family friendly activities.

Madtree Brewing Co. will be serving beer from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will be supporting Give Back Cincinnati, a Cincinnati-based non-profit.

Enjoy the Reds Opening Day with this breath taking view.

Top of the Park will be hosting an Opening Day rooftop party. Included are some Opening Day drink specials. Doors open at Noon.
