Cincinnati based band "Over the Rhine" talks about their new single "Welcome Home"
When Cincinnati Bell’s latest commercial debuted just before halftime of last month’s Super Bowl, local residents took notice for its sentimental depiction of life in Greater Cincinnati and for the heartfelt song that accompanied it.
The song, “Welcome Home,” was written and performed by Cincinnati-based music artists Over the Rhine.
In the video above, Over the Rhine shares the song writing process behind “Welcome Home” and how Cincinnati Bell’s hometown pride and ongoing charitable initiative – Cincy Give – inspired them to partner with the company.
Cincinnati Bell’s Cincy Give campaign gives Greater Cincinnati residents a way to showcase their hometown pride, while also giving back to four local charities dedicated to improving lives throughout the region. The proceeds from the sale of every HOME t-shirt is donated to CancerFree KIDS, The Dragonfly Foundation, the USO of Central and Southern Ohio, and the SPCA.
