Covington’s Braxton Brewing continues to expand their reach with the announcement of a new partnership.
On Wednesday, Braxton announced that they’re teaming up with NKU to open a beer garden inside BB&T Arena, the home for the Norse men’s and women’s basketball teams.
On top of that, Braxton is also brewing a special beer for the team, “Norse Pale Ale” that you’ll be able to find at the beer garden and Dickmann’s Sports Cafe after the game this Saturday.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to team up with Northern Kentucky University, an institution so close to home for our entire company,” said Jake Rouse, Co-Founder, and CEO at Braxton Brewing Company. “Norse Pale Ale is a bright citrus forward pale ale that is sure to be a fan favorite and there’s no better place to enjoy it than the newly constructed Braxton Beer Garden right in BB&T Arena!”
You can find the Braxton Beer Garden in the Valhalla veranda on the south end of the bowl, featuring a bar created from empty bourbon barrels and several high definition TVs.
The beer garden will be open during all NKU men’s and women’s basketball games at the arena during the 2017-18 season, as well as during University of Cincinnati games, who are temporarily playing at BB&T during the renovation of Fifth Third Arena.
