Braxton Brewing and Graeter’s Are Teaming Up For Another Beer

If you have a sweet tooth, you’re gonna love the sentence that comes next.

Covington’s Braxton Brewing Company and Graeter’s Ice Cream are teaming up again to create another ice cream flavored beer, “Blueberry Pie Brown Ale.”

The brew is inspired by the Graeter’s popular seasonal offering, “Elena’s Blueberry Pie,” and will help benefit The Cure Starts Now with Braxton and it’s partners pledging a $10,000 donation.

“Our support of the Cure Starts Now is entering a new decade” said Chip Graeter, 4th generation coowner of Graeter’s. “Ten years ago we created this special ice cream flavor and have been committed to the cause ever since. And this year, we’re elevating awareness even more with Braxton Brewing Co.’s ice cream-inspired ale. We couldn’t be more excited for this year’s campaign.”

You’ll get the chance to try it for yourself on September 9th at a special tapping party at Braxton. After that, it’ll head to participating Kroger stores in Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, Lexington, Louisville, Dayton and Nashville on September 11th.

This of course follows the massively successful “Black Raspberry Chip Stout” that Braxton and Graeter’s teamed up to create earlier this year.
