Braxton Brewing Co., has announced plans to open a brand new taproom and brewery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. The Braxton Barrel House will be dedicated to barrel-aged beer and the extensive bourbon heritage found throughout Kentucky.
On September 27th, the Braxton Barrel House will offer a brand new experience for patrons by giving them the opportunity to try a unique selection of barrel-aged beers. They also are rolling out the nation’s first Private Barrel Program for barrel-aged beer. At the grand opening guests will be able to enjoy live music and local food options to pair with their favorite Braxton beers.
Found at the Remke Plaza in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, the 2,000 square foot loading dock has been redeveloped with large glass garage doors and a spacious outdoor patio. Inside, guests will find a taproom with 20 beers on draft. The 20,000 square-foot warehouse under the main floor will house a variety of wooden barrels for aging beer.

“We’ve always been focused on creating one-of-a-kind experiences for our guests – both in the tap room and beyond,” shares Jake Rouse, Co-Founder and CEO of Braxton Brewing. “We’re looking forward to sharing the Braxton Barrel House with Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati-area beer and bourbon drinkers who love Kentucky’s culture as much as we do. To our knowledge, this is the nation’s first dedicated private barrel program, and we’re so proud to open the doors to our newest location.”
