Beloved Covington Oktoberfest Comes Back to Life to Celebrate the Local Community

Covington Oktoberfest, an event once thought to be lost, will come alive once again. And, in this year’s celebration, the spotlight has been shown on the vibrancy of the local community.

The event will be held Friday, September 6th – Sunday, September 8th and will center around Goebel Park at 501 Philadelphia St. in Covington, KY.

The free-to-attend fest will highlight live music, local artists and local food and drink vendors, including Braxton Brewing Co., all in an effort to bring the focus back to Covington’s colorful culture.

In previous years of Covington Oktoberfest, businesses in Covington’s Mainstrasse Village experienced less foot traffic as visitors opted for street food and beer instead of indoor dining. This year, restored by local leaders like Braxton Brewing Co., the focus will be put back on local businesses.

Visitors can expect a family-friendly event with familiar local favorites converging at Goebel Park in a festival re-imagined and brought back to life, for the sake of joining the community together.
