For much of their existence, puzzles have been a fun, harmless activity best reserved for a quiet afternoon with Grandma.
You’d spend a few hours at the kitchen table assembling it, and, in the end, you’d be left with some quality time together and a cliche image of a peaceful stream or cozy cabin. Then you’d tear it apart and put it back in the box for next time.
But something’s happened. Jigsaw enthusiasts have demanded a more challenging experience, craving harder and harder puzzles that require a ton of time and mental fortitude.
And if you’re one of those people, we’ve got the puzzle for you.
And yes, you read that right. There’s no image to help you out – just a thousand blank tiles of nothing but white with an apt nickname, “Pure Hell.”
It’s developed by Japanese board game manufacturer Beverly. And if the color white isn’t your speed, don’t worry, there’s an all-black version called “Black Hell.”
And keep in mind, this is a micro puzzle. The individual pieces are smaller than average, which adds to the difficulty.
And if the user reviews on Amazon are any indication, this puzzle isn’t for the faint of heart. One review described the puzzled as “Satan in puzzle form.” Another user claimed they’ve never finished it even after working on it for an entire year.
And then this person…well, they might need some help.
Here’s hoping you don’t lose your mind in the process.
