Big Tree Plantation

It’s a beautiful scene here in Morrow. For 25 years, this family owned farm has been helping many find, cut down and haul out the perfect tree. While you’re there, stop by the life size nativity scene and gift shop.

We like it so much, we stopped by to get some pro tips on picking out the perfect tree.

Hours: The tree barn is open Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Sundays, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Bartels Farm

They planted their first tree in 2008, and since then they’ve been providing a peaceful, scenic spot for families to come and cut down their own trees. If you’re looking for an especially large tree, you’ll find plenty here between 12 and 14 feet tall!

Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Sunday, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Dirr Nurseries featured in the movie "Carol"

Dirr Nurseries

Known for their famous White Pine Trees, Dirr Nurseries has been in business more than 50 years. You may have seen them on the big screen too, as they were a featured location in the film Carol shot in and around Cincinnati. Many also love their fresh cut wreaths!

Koch Christmas Trees

At this family farm in Reily Township, you’ll find Scotch pine, Eastern White pine, Canaan fir, and Blue spruce. They also bring in prime pre-cut Fraser fir trees from North Carolina. This is also a great spot to get a fresh cut wreath and some free hot chocolate!

John T Nieman Nursery

More than 60,000 trees are grown on this Hamilton farm and there’s definitely something for you! You can roam the fields and search or find one pre-cut. In addition to finding your perfect tree, there are also antique cars to check out.
